Affiliation Groups

AEE has created networks of experiential education professionals sharing similar issues, views and ideas on topics. Each group represents the interests of their members through newsletters, books and directories, pre-conference workshops, regional conference and research relevant to their members' interests.

Natives, Africans, Asians, Latino(a)s, and Allies (NAALA)
Elevating the consciousness of AEE's membership toward oppression, exploitation and human suffering, and advocating for social and economic justice within experiential education by developing and implementing new strategies for sharing "power."

Old Folks & Allies (OFA)
Creating space for AEE's elders to connect with each other, share their wisdom with those newer to the field, and contribute to the promotion of experiential education through their connections, projects and initiatives.

Women's Professional Group (WPG)
Sharing a commonality of concerns as women engaged in experiential education and voicing the interests, needs and concerns of women within AEE and the larger professional communities.

International Affiliation Group (INTL)
Providing the global community with a forum to share perspectives and ideas.
