Our Mission
The mission of the Association for Experiential Education is to develop and promote experiential education. The association is committed to supporting professional development, theoretical advancement and the evaluation of experiential education worldwide.  

Our Ends
Members of the Association for Experiential Education will be sought after and respected professionals for their ability to interweave a philosophy of experiential education through a variety of methodologies.

1. Experiential education is interwoven into many forms of professional practice including, but not limited to: education (K-12, higher education), outdoor adventure education, human service, corporate training.
2. Public policy is implemented that supports the philosophy of experiential education in professional practice.
3. Members have access to an advanced body of knowledge through the development, publication and dissemination of new information, creative ideas and ethical professional standards.
4. Members and consumers understand that experiential education occurs through a variety of methodologies. 
5. Membership of the association reflects the many fields that utilize the philosophy of experiential education.
